Okay I am finally thinking of installing a turbo, is the s trim vortech any good? How much rwh can I expect to see, and what 1/4 mile times?

An s-trim is a type of Vortech centrifugal supercharger.

If you want info on turbos, go to turbomustangs.com

Turbos use exhaust gasesto spin and create a lot of heat under the hood. All Vortechs (superchargers) use thebeltoff thefront of the engine to spin. Both work off RPM. The S-Trim is a good unit and usuallycan see 60-75% gain in horsepower ifthe motor is tuned to the blower.Just be carefull with boost levels with stock internals.

Depends on how long you want to wait and if you need to pass emissionsbasically. Either of the 2 will cost about the same, but fora turbo kit you are going to have to wait like 6-8 weeks for it. Both are really cool, I wouldn't be disappointed if I had either. I had a VortechS-trim, but sold it to my brother so he could use on his car,but afterhaving fitmentissues with it and saw that I don't have to pass DEQ anymore I decided that I wanted a turbo instead. My fitment issues were my own fault, my radiator and electric fan were too thick and I didn't have the clearance to put the crank pulley on.

I had my car dyno tuned and it was putting 269 rwh to the rear wheels, what will that s trim do for me, is it worth the money?
