adder u ever seen this brand of clutch? i just got all this today a new remand cnc flywheel and this clutch kit it says "NEW GENERATION" CLUTCH KIT, HEAVY DUTY. AND I GOT A STANDARD FLYWHEELS BRAND FLY. and a TIMKEN roller bearing main input. ill add pics in a second of it these are NOT the cobra stuff these are new and for the 86 gt bought em today. my tranny doesnt seem to be disengaging all the way and im pretty sure my throw out is toast . im grind into 3 and 4th sometimes and i cant down shift into 2 nd with out going to first then second. pops pops outa 4th now and then and hard to get into reverse.

i just picked up my friends old t5 today it had a bent shift fork i geuss but it has racing gears, cryogenic or something he said all the big gears look great but i think its the sycro gears with the lil pointed teath some are cheweup so they are angled instead of pointer shaped only one set in the middle looks bad. im taking my trans out tomorrow and im going to crack it open and im wondering if i need to know anything about removing the top carefull, since this one came to me open already i dont wanna screw up anything but if mine looks really bad i dont wanna put it back in if i can just swap over shift forks from mine and make this one better heres a few pics, kinda hard to see but u get the idea.
and adder the pressure plate says seco on it scmu229 whatever that is. the clutch disc says PHC VALEO and CAU and AM-12 MADE IN KOREA" RELEASE/THROW OUT BEARING SAYS NOTHING. The piolt say INA FC65662 USA". im just curiuos is any of this is garbage stuff. i got everything new for 30 bucks from a friend so im not complaining. pics of the new t5 first

SUNDAY MORNING..... time to get it done...drope the offroad h pipe and drive line, disconnect the clutch cable, undo the shifter, drop the tranny,remove the clutch and flywheel.etc. lots of fun! any have tips on the flywheel removal?i know these can be hard sometimes

flywheel just get a nice long wrech to get easy torque when removing. i had a friend hold the crankshaft bolt at the front of the engine to keep it from spinning while i removed/installed the flywheel

yeah im hoping i can use my impact in there to make it easy. i need to look up what the torque specs are on the flywheel bolt are.
so i think the chewed up gears in the other t5 are the blocker rings not syncro gears
