Biggest Rear tire on 16x7 pony?

Hey guys!!! What is the biggest tie that can be stuffed on a rear on an 89 gt with pony?

Some 255/50/16 tires can fit onto a 7" rim, but make sure to look at the tire specs first because some manufacturers call for a 7.5" rim.
Also note that this size will not fit in the front (go with 225/55/16).

id go 265/40/16 at biggest.
