for some reason my air bag light is on now and has been since i started the new motor. and when i turn the steering wheel i can hear like a tearing or rubbing of wire so i think my coil inside the wheel got messed up somehow and thats also what caused the light to come on. this sound reasonable and should I even bother fixing them since a new coil is prolly expensive.

it's called the clock spring!! and when motor was out you didn't happen to unhook the steering shaft did you??? and if so and you let the wheel spin around...most likely the clock spring is now toast

I didnt have the sound problem when turning but after i put my 347 in and then did my gears my abs light came on for some reason but think something was shorting out cause when it would start to blink when driving my car would run like crap but it somehow fixed itself.
