Will a 95 GT 5-speed transmission fit in a stock 5.0 mustang??????????????

It will bolt up but Im not sure if the length of the trannies are different (I think the shifter location is farther back on the '95). Not sure though. Probably shouldnt have posted lol.

i believe vfast posted a LONG deal about the t-5 last night. look at that and it'll tell you everything you wanna know, plus about a billion things that you'll never need to i think his post said the shifter is moved back some in the sn95's tho. good luck

Got this response from Tremec which now runs the Borg Warner section when I asked the same question.

"If you pull everything from the 95 including the clutch housing and
throw out parts, then the only thing that will move is the location of
your shifter coming thru the floor which will be minimal."
