Heat lukewarm after new radiator, heater core, thermostat...etc.

Heat lukewarm after new radiator, heater core, thermostat...etc.
After getting some work done, my heat doesn't seem to be blowing hot.
Here's what I had done. New copper/brass radiator from 50resto, new thermostat housing, new 160 thermostat, new upper/ lower hoses, 16lb radiator cap, new heater core from 50resto, new heater core hoses with Flow restrictor installed. Also Complete new A/C system (compressor, condensor, accumulator/receiver drier, lines, hoses, compressor clutch.
The temp control **** is fine. blend door works good, new temp cable installed.
Could it the the thermostat and/or the flow restrictor???
I used to get super hot heat very quickly. Now even after 10-15 minutes of driving the air is lukewarm.
Also the temp gauge used to always be in the middle or one notch above middle.
Now it's the next line above 130 (the bottom line).
Any Ideas on why the heat is lukewarm?
Thanks

hrm.. check your connections on all your new stuff, did you replace the cabin filter? Does it blow air as much as normal, or does the cfm seem restricted?

+1 on the t-stat thats why too low for a 5.0 nothing lower than a 180 unless you live out in like az where sometimes they need to run a 160 to keep op temp down and try bleeding the system again you also dont need that restriction i dont have one and my car heats up in about 5 minutes max

Air flow from the vent is normal.
As for the thermostat, what temp is a stock one? I don't know why the shopgave me a 160. I've heard that the engine operates better when it reaches a certain temp. Should I get 180 or 195?
If I get a higher temp thermostat, will that improve the heat?
As for the heater core restrictor, I had the core replaced 2 years ago and it busted, so I ordered one from 50resto and did the install myself. I decided to put the flow restrictor in as a precaution. I guess I dont really need it???
What would bleeding the system do? It should be fine, the shop already flushed and refilled the coolant after the install. Unless the radiator I got was slightly bigger and there isn't enough in there???
Thanks the help guys.

I decided to go with the stock 195. It's warms up normally now and the heat is nice and hot, and the car runs a bit cooler than before the new radiator was installed. The temp gauge now stays steady one notch below the middle.
Maybe it's in my head, but my car feels a bit quicker now.
I'll keep the 180 in mind after engine upgrades.
Thanks for the info guys.

I'm sure it's faster and not just in your head. I say it in every stat thread I post in, but it bears repeating. You should run the highest temp stat you can without detonating or compromising the tune. Hotter engine means the fuel vaporizes more readily and combustion occurs more rapidly, which means more power. Engines need heat to work, cold air and cold wet fuel don't combust well. This is true in EFI cars where you need enough temp to close the loop and get precise fuel metering, and in carb'd cars that need the heat to vaporize/atomise the fuel in the intake.
