tranny problem

Default tranny problem

i just got out my stang a few days ago and theres this problem it has that has continued form last year. basically i drive regularly in 1st up to lets say 3500 rpm ill push the clutch in and theres this bang shanking noise that comes from the tranny. only seems to do it when i push the clutch to shift into second. could the tranny be loose or something?

I'd check all the tranny bolts and bellhousing bolts

should i remove them one by one abd maybe put on locktite or is that not necessary

no loctite necessary...just check them and see if they are tight first..you are trying to find the problem so you are troubleshooting so therfore no repairs should be made until you locate exact prob...also check motor mount bolts and tranny mount bolts
