Head swap
I am getting ready to place my order for the top of end of my motor and have a stupid question. I am swapping the heads while the motor is in the car. I am planning on using studs on the heads and am wondering if I am going to have any problems getting the heads on the block ie clearence issues with the master cylinder etc any help is appreciated.

RE: Head swap
no clearance issues. studs would make it much easier to mount the head, using the regular bolts makes it kind of hard to hold (if you're using cast iron) the head in place by yourself and putting a bolt in.
other than that it'll be a direct replacement and you should have no issues. just make sure you label stuff so you dont lose anything, zip lock baggies and sharpie FTW
