engine rebuild... tips for a newb
Since my mustang i just bought, has been sitting for 6 years, its a good idea to rebuild the engine right? Should i get the kits off of Summit or do you guys know of anywhere else. I dont want to spend more than $900 but if its close , i guess i can deal with it too @ $1000.
-Thanks
Edit: its a 1990 Mustang GT AOD v8 5.0 h.o EFI

did you change the fluids atleast before you started it? I just pulled my motor out of my new mustang that was sitting for 8 years and droped it off at my engine shop started taking her apart and should have it down to nothing tomorrow.

i did a oil change, radiator flush, new air filterthen put new fluids in. thats all i did.
I am going to put a new fuel filter soon, but it looks like i need to get new spark plugs, and wires?
Edit: it has 183,000 miles
