There was one guy on here...I think AOD08 or something like that, he was trying to put his flex plate on....couldn't get it to line up so he oblonged a couple holes. He couldn't figure out why he had a bad vibration
lol thats way funny and exactly what i was worried about. anyways been a long day, hurray for posts did rear main, flywheel clutch and relized i got a 4 banger relesae bearing got the 5.0 one just got the tranny back in.fun. i forgot how fun, its been a a good 2 years since i did a tranny from the bottom.this cars getting there, now i just need to rebuild the motor,lol

I've learned over the years, that no matter how idiot proof something is made to be, their's always someone more stupid than the designer is smart. If it can be acccessed by a human being, it can be screwed up.

yeah alot of them work at quick lubes i get some many cars in from quick lubes that have either a stripped drain plug or the coolant was topped off with washer fluid. hell the worst i saw was an f150 king ranch that my gf's brother drives the quick lube filled the washer fluid with power steering fluid how the hell do you fuccking mess that one up

Make sure you put the weight opposite the harmonic balancer.

Make sure you put the weight opposite the harmonic balancer.
It can only go on one why chief, the balancer has a key placing the weight in a certain position and the flywheel will only go on one way and is balanced to that position.

ive seen some dumb stuff. jiffy lube idiots double gasketing oil filters cus they forgot to check that the old one wasnt still stuck to the block. i know a girl who put tranny fluid in the brake resivor on her taurus cus as always the tranny slips on those pos cars. her dad told her over the fone to ad tranny fluid and she thought he told her to put it in the res. lol.

i really wanna know how my kit came with a 4 banger release bearing but the right clutch disc and pressure plate!!

yeah i got a zoom kit one time and it came with a 4 banger t/o bearing so i had to reuse the old one
