Get your weight down to around 3000lbs. w/you, put together a stock 302 motor with good rod bolts, girdle and main studs, use some TFS twisted wedge or AFR 185 heads, call up rick anderson and get a custom "PURE STREET" style cam that'll rev to 9000rpm, throw on a good high RPM intake w/supporting mods, get some good control arms, shocks and 10.5 slicks.

Thats the cheap way to do it but not the most consistent. It will go 10.50's but 9000rpm won't last too long.

A 408w with a C4 and slicks should get you there fairly easy and consisent.
