pvc pipe cold air intake ftw!

now you are thinking
the rubber intake does not have the same heat soak characteristics of a metal intake tube... thus keeping your intake charge cooler, and you will see less drop in power

RE: power???
If you are still running speed density computer (no MAF) then you have to keep your stock injectors. If you have converted to an A9L computer then change the mass air meter out to one calibrated for 24lb injectors and put those in.Cobra intake and a 65mm throttle body will wake the carup.Swap out the factory headers for aftermarket 1-5/8. If you are still running speed density then keep the stock camin the motor for driveablitybut advance it 6 deg and add 1.7Cobra rr or 1.72 FMS rr to add lift to the cam. lol with the car. I love '86 GT's.
