Going to change the tranny oil now. Where exactly are the oil drain and the max fill bolts? I can't seem to find them.

Yeah dude. I know. Thanks.

Now to my question: where are the drain and fill plugs located on the tranny?

Does anyone know about how much oil is required for an manual t5 5 speed tranny oil change? And are there any recommendations of oil to use? I was thinking GM Synchromesh of Royal Purple Synchromax.
*cough* if you knew, they the **** did you ask!

and both plugs are on the passenger side of the tranny.

I think the easiest way to pour the fluid in is to get some airline tubing from home depot and run that to the top hole from the engine compartment then pour the fluid in until it drips from the top hole.
Most guys are used to removing the bezel, removing the boot and removing the shifter. Taking out the fill plug. Pouring it in from inside the car. Resealing it and throwing it all back together. If you are comfortable with that. Do it but Tmuti's method is definately the best.

Fish some clear tubing from a funnel in the engine compartment down to the fill hole of the trans. Done.

I just tried to change the oil in this gearbox again and I just can't see those two bolts. Do I have to drop the gearbox to get to them? Are they closer to the back of the gearbox or the front? I have the car jacked up now on the passenger side.

Anyone has any pictures of what I should be looking for? I do see 2 drain plugs at the bottom of the car but I believe those are for the oil drain right?

I think I've found them both. Are both of the bolts square? My drain bolt is on the side (not underneath like in the write up).
