Default King Cobra Clutch

Just wondering about how much power it could handle, so anyone with one chime in on how much you got or how much it took to blow it away.

depends on how you launch...I ran low 11's with a 100 shot on a previous motor in my 85 and had no issues ..infact the kc clutch is still in the 85 now equipped with a 347 that just ran 11.79@117 mph with a kc clutch and I've yet to use the 100 shot of Nos .just depends..some blow theirs up with minimal hp and as for me mine still holds strong with a good bit of power in front of it

I have one a mostly stock 91. It's not nearly as stiff as my friend's 78 vette and over all, not really that stiff. I have no problems with it, its much better then the clutch that was on here before, and the one i replaced still had plenty of disc left.

i have one, stiff pedal, but i really really liked it...its slipping now though, for like no reason...so i'm going with a centerforce dual friction next

i had one in my tremec-3550... Loved the clutch, hated the trans (went through synchros after 4 passes and 1k miles).... On my 4th trans now (in sig)--cant go wrong... As for clutches
Centerforce is a great clutch... i know of some others but i cant think of them at the moment--just went blank.

Im with 1990NOS...I have samething KC with 3550....hate the trans clutch is ok....pretty soft pedal...but yeah its chatters a bit.....I think they get hard as miles get put on...people with a lot of miles of their KC clutch usually complain about pedal? Mine is new so still soft....Centerforce has a heavy pedal too? So? Depending on clutch choice could be a lot worse if you dont know what your shopping for? Like 6 puck or sprung vs. unsprung disc etc.
