that looks like a great find. i say if your gonna buy it, take a drive to where ever that car is and test drive it a little. because your spending over 6 grand i say get up close and personal with it first and then make a decision. but i say that there is a 75% chance that car is what the guy says it is. get it!

It sounds good but THE TITLE IS SALVAGE> This means the car has been reported totalled due to an accident, flood or something else. BE AWARE of any frame damage or flood electric problems. I would take it to a body shop and check the frame and make sure there was no serious damage.

Dnt know about that. I would check it out anyways. Theft should not be salvage unles the car was damaged when found. Dnt know how laws are in CA but in IL.,stolen cars read THEFT on title. Just take a good look at it. You don't want a wreck. Im not saying it is, but just be careful. For your own good

I have highlighted som problem areas I see right off the bat that would cause me to run away from this deal. It looks like an electrical hack job and thats just whats apparent.

10 good reasons not to buy this car:

Starting at top right

1. WTH happened a battery explosion?

2. Lovely splice job on the battery cable!

3. Battery acid damage?

4. Wire ties for spark plug wire holders classy yet cheap on a new rebuilt motor no less hmmmm.

5. More acid damage on the new motor and intake?

6. Looks like a great hack job on the factory harness...

7. Is that another butt connector I see on the TFI harness?

8. More cheap wire ties lol. At least they did both sides, but different colors?? Come on stay consistent.

9. Yet another cheap butt connector on the alternator this time.

10. If this engine is a new rebuild with 100 miles on it, why is it so damn dirty? Were the 100 miles traveled down the back roads of Georgia?

"10 Second Car¸ Completely Race Track Ready
Less Than 100 Miles On New Engine
Many¸ Many New Components
Always Garage Kept Never Left Outside Or Seen A Rainy Day
No Rust¸ Well Maintained¸ Brand New Paint Job"

Direct quote from the ebay ad, let me translate:

10 second car, completely race track ready = this car will not make it as a daily driver it has too many issues.

Less that 100 miles on new engine = Its been about 100 miles since we dumped some engine restore and 90w gear lube in the crank case.

Many Many new components = Like the tie wraps?

Always garage kept never left outside or seen a rainy day = This statement is just a flat out lie, if it were garage kept then why the new paint?

No rust well maintained, brand new paint job = none that you can see or that has come through the bondo, It had a few oil changes and the owner knew how to drive stick. We popped for the $100 Maaco special for this one!!!

Run away and find a nice car to drop 6k on. Or buy it and have fun tracking down all the little problems lol. Its your cash...
