bear in mind if you put a fuel cell in a hatchback and expect to run it at the strip, you will need to install a firewall to seal off the back of the hatchback area or you won't pass tech. the vent line on the cell also has to be installed so it vents outside the car via a hose line from the top of the cell.
I'm in the process of switching over to a carbureted engine and have installed the firewall and a 5 gal aluminum fuel cell. You can fit many different size fuel cells back in the spare tire well area, just depends on how big a one you want. Most all mail order places like Summit and Jegs give you the size dimensions so you can take the measurements and see what will fit in your case. The 5 gallon one I got is 12" x 12" x 8 inches with a 2"deep sump and fit just fine. You have to cut out a hole for the sump to fit through and the cell has four mounting tabs to bolt it down. You can get some models with a built in level sending unit if you want one also. Prices depend on material selected, aluminum or plastic, size, and options like level sending unit. You can fit a 10 gallon one back there also if the height is not too tall but that's about as large as you can go and still fit down in the spare tire well. If you want bigger, you can always cut out the bottom of the well and let a new cell hang down below the floor.
