Code 54. ACT sensor location?

I have a trouble code 54 which is the ACT sensor. I did a search and found where it is located under the intake on the drivers side. The problem is it's not there on my car!?!? My car is a 92 LX. Was there another location for the sensor or am I just blind? Thanks in advance for any help! -Dave

The only place it should be is in the lower manifold, common to intake runner #5.

Do you have an explorer intake?

It looks like a stock 5.0 intake. I bought the car used so anything could be possible! The upper is stock for sure, would the upper bolt onto a explorer lower?

The Explorer lower is a GT40 lower basically, so no, the stock 5.0 Upper won't fit it. Is there a threaded hole on runner #5 of your lower? If it's been plugged off and no sensor is there that would explain your Code 54.
