Default Some EEC test questions??

Im going outside to selft test my car when I find out a few more things. My CEL doesn't work so I am going to use a analog volt meter. I am curious to what setting I have to put it on. The only settings in the DCV section on the meter are 500, 250, 10, 500u. Then theres DCA which has 10m and 250m. Can someone help me out please??

Default RE: Some EEC test questions??

analog has a needle, digital has "eletronic" numbers.
i would say 250, b/c 10 volts is less than the 12v -batt voltage, im not sure what voltages are seen during the test, but it would be an on to off then on kinda thing, a sweep up then pause then another sweep.

remember to run a koer test engine must be up to operating temp or code 21 may be spit out so it may be a bogus code if you did the test on a motor still operating in open loop as for egr code is it deleted/ removed from car?? ecm automatically deletes function when probs occur or is removed and code 91?? make sure there are no exhaust leaks before sensor on that side and if not...make sure orange ground wire is secure on back of heads amd as long as the sensor reference voltage is there and ground is good.. try replacing that sensor and retest
