Default Exhaust question

Got the 331 in and all is going well, except for the exhaust. Running JBA equal length shorties, and the rest of the system is Basani. The headers went on real easy, and were on the motor when we put it in. Put on the pipes from the headers back, and the hangers are on the back of the tranny, by the tranny mount. After getting these on there is no way the trans mount is going to go back into it's stock position. What do I need to do? Looks like the hangers are the same and the pipes are a bigger diameter of course. Do I need to look for an after market crossmemberor am I doing something wrong?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Jim

Default RE: Exhaust question

Unless you have a welder to relocate the positioning of the hangers.. do away with them..I did and mine has been fine for 5 plus years
