Default Drop springs

I am considering getting a set of springs to lower the car a little bit. Any of you guys have any suggestions? How bad would the ride be after install? Thanks.

it wouldn't be bad unless u have a bummpy road all over the place and pretty much i think it will knock u down 3-4hp since ur putting the weight of the car closer but thats about all it will do and make sure if u do that set up its just not springs also think about getting some good shocks and a new pair of bushings best place is ebay i think get the hole kit

I've got the ford racing "B" springs and i'm pretty happy with em, the ride is definately harder but i think it makes driving more fun, plus the car is lower, looks better, and you can put some more power to the ground

Won't happen. IF anything was to happen you would gain bc when you drop the car down it straightens the angle of the driveshaft so there is less of a strain in the drivetrain but you wouldn't see any dyno numbers or fell it. Alot of people use 4 cyl springs to srop there car some and still retain a stock ride. Remember if you drop too much (around 1.5 or so is what I here the rule of thumb is) you will ne CC plates and a bumpsteer kit to help keep that ride even better.

Quite a bit actually. My front end use to sit REAL high and raise way higher whenI got on it. I would say probably 2 1/2 - 3in. Probably closer to 2 1/2in. If you look at my car domain you can see before and after pics. It use to sit real high and ride like crap. Now it sits nice and drives like a dream compared to what it was before.

Thanks for the input, I think 1.5 in. would do me I dont want to drag the frame you know. What do you guys run for shocks? I am interested in getting a decent drop and gain some handling without getting to rough.
