1988 mustang cd player wiring
hey im looking for a wiring diagram for an 1988 mustang, the wires to the cd player were cut and i cant figure out what is what, i thought i had it and now the cd player comes on when the head lights are turned on ( with the key off)...any ideas how to fix that or what im wiring wrong?

It seems like you have your dimmer hooked up to the switched wire on the back of the head unit. Take a test light or vmeter and start troubleshooting..find out whats what.You need the ignition wire hooked up to it. No reading when car is off and reading when car in on. It's fairly easy to figure them out. Good Luck.
