RE: c-4 to tremec tko 600
thats just the tranny
my friend just put a tko 500 in his fox
cost him about 3300 in total between
tranny
shifter
bellhousing
crossmember
and everything else he had to buy
it is a very expensive swap
and i felt the STOCK shifter that comes with the tranny and it feels like ***, i would NOT want to daily drive that thing ever lol, don't get me wrong it shifts like a dream but just the way the whole thing feels i would not buy it if i drive the car very often

RE: c-4 to tremec tko 600
I'm running
TKO-600
McLeod SFI bell
CenterForce Dual friction clutch
SFI steel flywheel
that clutch has nice smooth street friendly feel
that bellhousing is easier to install than Lakewood.
Stock plugs and cables plug right in.
You might have a little trouble with stock Fox-body shift fork not pushing the clutch cable out
enough to clearer bigger SFI bellhousings.
Astroperformance has nice fix with modified shift fork
http://www.astroperformance.com/prod...roducts_id/120
Dont be surprised if you have to take a hammer to the floorboard for an extra 1/2" of clearance too.
I like my stock TKO-600 shifter just fine. I'd say break it in on the one it comes
with and if you just dont like it or want better ....... then upgrade.
