t-5 want go into gear

the trans goes into gear when it's not running but when it's running it want it's in a 85gt i put the trans and motor in it, just got it running any idea it's a new trans but not a new cluth the old one was in good shape

sounds like you need to adjust your clutch.

you dont have the clutch adjusted properly

pull up on the pedal to activated self adjusting mechanism

got it working i had to hold back on it under the car why a friend push down the peddle, don't no why it would'nt work pulling up the peddle, got to go up and down the driveway just a few more bugs to get out before the road
