Default How to flush engine block??

New Alum. Radiator should be in by Mon....in the mean time I want to remove radiator and flush system. Anyone know of a simple way to flush block w/o removing block plug.

why not just remove the plug ? is it a pain to put back in ? i asked a similar question a week ago and no one answered me lol
anyone have a picture of where on the block this plug is ?

I recommend not trying to flush your motor. I did it as recommended on here and it ruined my entire car.

I heard the plug is a allen head bolt and have heard a couple times not to remove it. Hell, mines probally been on there 20 years...so Im not taking it out.

LOL. We all know that he's talking about flushing the cooling system in the motor, not running water through the crankcase like you did. Besides, it didn't ruin your entire car, just the engine.

LOL. We all know that he's talking about flushing the cooling system in the motor, not running water through the crankcase like you did. Besides, it didn't ruin your entire car, just the engine.
The engine is practically the entire car. Car was of no use to me anymore as it would not run......

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH FLUSHING THE COOLING SYSTEM^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ your problem was you flushed the oiling system with water per a members joke and you were just to nieve to realize the reccommendation was a joke

so its an allen key bolt thats it ? and it goes right back in .. no gaskets or anything ???

you normally cant get the block plugs out, more than half the time they are rusted in really bad and youll either strip the plug or break it pulling it out. just stick a garden hose in the water neck and flush the engine out that way. pull the t-stat though or you wont get anywhere


so your the one that flush your crank case with water[&:][&:][&:]

Mark, you ran water through your crankcase... stupid

camaroeater, i dont see why you just cant take the lower hose off and put your water hose up to the upper radiator hose and just run water through it.
