if it was my car then yes, the stock springs are barely adequate for the stock cam, if you dont change springs then youll never realize the full potential of the cam the stock springs tend to float around 5 to 5500rpm, pick whos springs you wanna use and give em a call, theyll wanna know what cam and combo your using and give you their recommendation as to what spring to use, you may have to replace retainers and keepers as well. too stiff a spring and you could wipe lobes and cause severe valvetrain damage and too little spring pressure and your valves will float and the car will lean over at higher rpms, hope this helps.
thanx for the help yahj one way or another i was putting new springs on with mny rebuild just was wondering if any1 knew a good company or set that worked for sum1 else thanxxx.
