Woohoo!

Well, the other day I finally got me my first long awaited 5.0! A fixer upper, few problems known up front under the hood, but a clean, straightbody, and a fairly recent motor rebuild. Just got it back from the shop....new radiator, hoses, power steering pump, valve cover gaskets, water pump and shocks. Other then a nice exhaust setup, the car is a stock 90 GT, 5 speed. What would be some of the first performance mods y'all would recommend? Thanks!

Oh, one thing I am noticing, it drives fine, but if getting on it hard, especially in 2nd and 3rd, as RPMs get above 3k or so, it starts....sputtering a bit, little hard to describe. Its not major, and only seen when pushing it hard. My mechanic bud feels this could be due to the ignition, he suggested an upgrade here first perhaps. Thoughts?

See my mods in my sig. They're agood place to start, not wallet breaking, and transformed a stock LX into a totally different animal. Enjoy personalizing your ride. And one thing...unlike what you'll hear from most around here, if you do any highway driving at all go with 3.55's. They truly are the best of all worlds for gears. Good luck.

first I'd check for codes via a koer test then do a fuel pressure test while getting on it to see if there is a drop in pressure and maybe try cleaning the maf and if it hasn't had a tune up in a while = plugs , cap , rotor and wires, start with that:D
