Default in the middle of a t5 rebuild

So ive got step by step directions but im having some issues. Im at the last step of the tear down where I'm trying to take the countershaft gear assembly out but it gets caught on the housing. I already cut off the roller bearing cage on the tail side. It gets caught on one of the lips of the bearing beneath the roller bearing. Anyone know a trick I can do to get this last piece out? or how I can remove the piece below the roller bearing?

Yea I'm a little impatient, Ive been working on this since 1 EST. I havent had any problems until this and I'm stuck now until I can get some help. I wasnt refering to anyone specific, I was just saying because there have been so many views on the post and no responses.

I just want to finish this. I have a bunch of buddies with mustangs and all are out cruising and I'm stuck with mine that doesnt have a tranny...Im just over-anxious to get her on the street for the summer. I havent driven my car in 4 months and its eating at me so Im a little impatient in general.

all I did to get it out was to take off the bearing on the small end of the countershaft, then i just angled it and it came right out.

you need to take off the reverse mechanism in the middle first.

If your going to be so pleasant then just dont respond. I dont know what your issue is with me and my posts but stop responding to my threads. I waited two hours and had 30+ people look at my thread without a single response at the time. Two hours may not be very long to you, but I have other **** to do than sit on here and criticize other people.
