Default quick timing set question

will a timing set that is for a manual fuel pump work with my electric fuel pump?
i am looking at http://store.summitracing.com/partde...DB&FROM=MGand http://store.summitracing.com/partde...DB&FROM=MG. both say they are for eccentric fuel pumps only. but that shouldn't matter if i have an electric fuel pump. either one will work, right?

thanks

Default RE: quick timing set question

Yes they would work. You can run the eccentric on or off because if your running an electric pump, there won't be an arm in there for the manual pump to interfere.
