Default fuel pressure

ok so i got a bbk regulator today for free basically and im going to throw it on tomorrow i know stock pressure is 39 psi and i wanna bump it up but not sure how much

heres what is done to my car:

K&N filter
silencer removed
timing advanced 12 degrees
msd cap/rotor,
super conductor wires
blaster TFI coil
equal length BBK headers
gutted H-pipe
pypes 2.5" exhaust

i know with my honda i built in HS i had upped my compression and put in a cam but same mods as my 5.0 and i had to bump the pressure up but being stock internals my buddy swears it doesnt need to be bumped and wiht stock injectors it will have no effector if i bump it but i think his logic is flawed.

You are right that it will have an affect if you bump up the pressure with stock injectors, but with your mods I would start at 38-40lbs.

the effect will be temporary... the car's ECM is smarter than you and will adjust the fuel trims accordingly to make up for what you screw with
