Default gas pedal doesn't feel right

I just took my upper intake offto make it easier toinstall the proper hoses on my pvc valve. I disconnected everything from the intake except the throttle body. NowI put it back together and my gas pedal doesn't feel like it should. It is way too easy to press it to thefloor and I don't like it.

Is your car an auto? Check the kickdown cable. Ive had it pop off on ming and it was way too soft.

Car is a manual. Still haven't figured it out. Starting to second guess myself but it feels different from what I remember. The pedal can move about 7cm when I lift it with my foot and is approximately 7 cm from the floor when i'm not touching it.Looking at thecable, itisn't fixed to the pedal but I don't think it should be Not sure if I have it routed like it should be but would a few different bends make that much of adifference.
