can u say extra crispy computer? also check to see if you also fried your ignition module... most likey the reverse polaity that you discribed might have fried a few things... good luck with fixing it..

It starts up just fine the issue is it wont stay engadged the fuel does not get to the breather at all we have to manually put it there we think or i think its the wire from the starter to the pump thats fried because we did a wire check and it didnt come in red on the duhicky.


That button didn't do the trick... Where to go from here?

It might be the ignition switch itself.

Have any idea on where to start about switching that out and or fixing, a price range for that switch? where can i find this at..

aw ****er the people helping me (my father) wants to belive its the fuel pump so i hear what your saying but they all want to do the fuel pump before we do anything else..

Add power to the pump via the relay and see if it comes on.... should tell you real quick if the pump is back but you seem to be on the right track. Here is a diagram for the wiring to the pump.

how would i go abouts doing the relay suggestions? where do i start, im not great at cars but i just want to get this one to start first then start working from there

Have you located the relay, it will be under the driver seat. Use a piece length of wire and power it from the fuse panel (radio fuse or what ever). Use that wire to put power to thePink\Black wire going from the relay to the fuel pump. Turn the key to on position to bring power from the fuse to the pump, you should then hear the pump kick on. If not then use your test light to ensure power it running through the wire to the pump. If you got power at the jumper wire the pump should come on.

ok pump works we are charging battery then we will find why its broke and where the wire from starter is bad

dude think about it??? it has spark so therefore the tfi module is fine[&:]it is a issue regarding the fuel system /circuit..understanding the system operation goes along way
