Purchasing rear end gears???
I know that over half of you guys have gears, so where the heck did you guys get em from. I would like to go with the FRPP 3.73 gears, I also need everything else that is necessary to install the gears. Is there a package out there that sells the gears and the crush sleeve and stuff? Please post the site that you guys got your gears and such from... Thanks a bunch guys!!!

RE: Purchasing rear end gears???
there are many places to order them from, my place that i make all my purchases from and that i can personally vouch for is
www.summitracing.com
I've been to there location in ohio, and they are quite impresive plus i have them deliver to me all the time in florida, they are always on time and shipping is free.

I believe http://www.50resto.com has the best price for them though.

that may be true but 50resto's websight and customer service are less than impressive and i have heard horror stories about shipment taking week to arrive, summit has there act together are are very proffesional, and they are usually willing to price match.

I've bought tons of stuff from both Summit Racing and Jegs and they both are good to work with, prompt on delivery, etc.
in addition to the gears, you can get a Ratech 8.8 rear end rebuild kit with all the bearings, shims, crush collar, etc. for about $95 or so. and it wouldn't hurt to get a $50 rebuild kit for the traction lok also and have it rebuilt when you get the gears done.

Avoid buying your gears from National Drivetrain. Their gears don't fit in our stangs and it cost me $100 for shipping and my stang hanging in the lift for 5 days because their MotiveGear3.73 dont fit! Refund is a pain in the a## charging me $100 bucks for shipping as if it's my fault why I bought my gears through them. BADDD customer service so beware!
