Default Can I reuse my head bolts?

Im replacing head gaskets and I was wondering if I can just use the org head bolts or if I HAVE TO get new ones. It only has about 5k miles on the motor.

As long as they're not damaged, use them!. It's always a good idea to clean up the threads on the bolts, and chase the threads in the block with the correct size tap. This will get you moreget accurate torque readings.

^ yup

and because the bolts go into water use teflon paste on the threads as a sealer/lubricant

I have seen many people reuse stock TTY bolts and they had no issues.

Of course, getting new ones are a better option.

Thanks for the responses guys. I would hate to have to spend 60 bux on new ones when these are perfectly fine. QUICK QUESTION...... the air tube that goes on the heads... Im taking it off. What size bolts would I use to block off the hole on the back of each head? Thanks again!

Plugging Smog Hole ([/b]thermactor plug) they're 5/8-11 IIRC.
Trick flow sells them as TFS-51400265 or spark plug works also. [/i]

Awesome thanx! Another question. What are the torque specs for the heads. I have the torque sequence i just need to know how tight they should be. Thanks! <3

can't remember what year it started but there were torque to yield bolts on foxes in later years and unless you had a stretch gauge to measure stretch..in theroy you are suppose to replace them per factory reccommendation but if yours is an earlier foxes you should be fine

For stock heads.
You need to torque them in 2 steps:

First step 55-65 Lb- Ft
Second step 65-72 Lb-Ft
