Poor 60 foot times
My 60 foot times are kinda sucky. I think I get alot of wheel spin off the line. I have M/T sportman DOT slicks (10.5). Would it get better with a full slick? My 60 ft. is around 2.1 and I can cross the finish line at around 120. Id like to get the 60 ft. time down to around 1.5. Any suggestions? -TY

Ummm... Eibach drag springs, Adjustable upper and lower control arms (weight jackers, I think). Adjustable tokiko shocks. I welded up the control arm boxes but I havent done the sub-frame connectors yet. I also have a spool in the rear.

you should be running 11's easy..... mine ran 85 gt34711.79 @117 but then again I have a lot of suspension work and it still spun a little....best 60ft I got and only have 2 runs on it was 1.70.....but to do it I got upper and lower control arms, panhard bar, adj pinion snubber, mt et street radials, and sub frames...........THE FIRST RUN i DID IT SPUN like mad 12.20 @117.5......and I got 275's on the rear..I'm gonna try the et street drags next= more of a slick..but I know what you mean....try lowering rpm when launching..and a better tire

Yea, I know Im just going to have to suck it up and sink more $$$ into it. It was my first time at the track and I got 3 runs in. On a better note my reaction times went from .490 on first run to .088 second run and then.066 on 3rd.

not bad RT'S!!!.....BUT YEAH..... I ONLY HAVE THE two runs on mine and goal with the 347 was to hit 11's and I did it so I'm content with what it ran and doubt I'll try to improve it this year..I'm just burnt out on it right now....and it has a 100 shot on it I've yet to use on it....so who knows when I'll see what it'll do with that....probably haze the tires big time!![:@]..I just don't want to dump anymore $$$$ into it right now
