wow that was a fast response thanks.. my car already had a gt 40 intake and head set up on it i did add a few other things to it other than the throttle body its just that when i added the throttle body it started runnin so slow there was dead bugs on the back window... other mods for my car are gt 40 intake and heads, bbk 65 mm throttle body, bbk underdrive pulleys, bbk equal length shorty headers, bbk offroad h-pipe and flow master super 40 mufflers but the car ran good with the stock throttle body now that i have changed it its a dog... any ideas ??

did you set the tps after tht new TB?
when I put my motor back together I forgot to set it, and it ran like crap, it would bog off the line and just made me hate it.
I checked the tps and it read 1.23v, which is waaaay too much.
I downed it to 0.985 and it is good now.

RE: bad luck with fuel injectors
ok well i did everythin right... or so i thought. i put in the new fuel injector and o-rings, put everything back in and together, to find gas shooting out from somewhere i cant see now when i try to start it. where could this be coming from? its toward the back of the engine, near cylinder 4, maybe i messed up one of the rings on the #4 injector putting everyting back together? RE: bad luck with fuel injectors
try using a little bit of engine oil on the o-rings before you install them this time, it helps ease it in place and helps seal it.
did you double check your fuel line fittings that go to the fuel rail?
to check your tps you need a digital voltmeter.
there are 3 wires coming from your tps, green, black, and white, I am not sure about the white, but you only need the green wire.
take a pin and stick it into the green wire, then turn on the ignition, set your voltmeter to dc volts, then put the positive end on the pin in the green wire, and the negative to a ground,
it should be at 0.98 volts for best throttle response,
now to change it, you just need to loosen the 2 screws that hold the tps in place, and turn the whole sensor a little each way, to see which way you have to go, one way will go up, and other will go down in volts.
set it, and tighten the screws, then check it again to make sure it didn't move when you tightened it down.
