alright. i got the heads for about 300$ invested. im kinda excited to see how they perform.
yeah that's what I paid for mine initially but unfortunately they were o-ringed??? hmmmmmmmm wonder why???[sm=nxsmile.gif]so when I put them on they leaked coolant/warped and had to have them decked and o-ring surface removed...decking and new gaskets and new valvesprings and set up on them to match my cam and 400.00 more invested they were good to go[:@].....but they are lightly ported, and new valve job with larger valves abd new seals and perform well!!
so you enjoy your heads than mj? nice, im real content with my set-up now. Gonna hit up the dyno real soon. btw, anyone wanna buy some underdrive pullies?
well they are on my 66....and I threw the build together on a budget and wanted aluminum heads but they weren't in the budget and I didn't want stock heads so I found the next best thing from a friend...and the car with the stock 74 302 in it with only a 4 barrel and headers ran 15.4 @ 88 mph.....so I rebuilt the bottom end had a Nos crane fireball cam sitting around .500/.500 lift and found these c9oe heads and roller rockers and rpm air gap, and with a t-5 in it and 3.50 gears on street tires I got it to run a 13.31 @ 104...so yeah I'm pleased with it since I never really put a lot of thought into the parts combo/build
