My buddy recently pulled off his valve covers after he purchased a 89 GT.. and found 351 Windsor heads on the car.. any reasons why? And are these good flowing heads for the 5.0 or too much?

C9 or D0 casting heads?....... if not, 351w heads = 302 heads.

if they are DOOE heads they are '69/'70 heads and basically the same thing as a gt40 head

good heads , not too much no, can do some port work and make them run really good on a small budget

I lied.. they are actually this head. i was confused when i saw the "96" on them and found out they are these heads..

yeah the seniors are the larger of the two heads world makes.... not the best out there but they are solid performers.

yeh just looked up the pricing, and there 500 per head. insane pricing, and 200 CC seems to be a large enough flowing head. definitely thinking of pickin up the heads off of him.

I run the Winsor Jr's ported and polished with 1.6 Scorpoin RR...Love then. These take a real beating!

I have a longblock sitting in my dad's garage with 351W heads on it....

actually they are not really the same as gt-40's cause they have a smaller cc cumbustion chamber.. I have a set of 69oe heads on my 66 with 1.94/1.50 ss manley valves and they perform amazingly well for the little invested in them...and the world products windsor sr heads are decent heads for the buck if bought cheap
