i jus picked up a 86mustang gt and it was running not so great .....hen i ingaged ther clutch it would not accerate and i had to rev the engine to accleratete....when i engaged the clutch normally it would do alot of jerking and/not respond...........when it idled iy wound jump around a liltlte then die but start right back up .......after about 10- 15 mmins of driving the engine died and now it will not start



i think it may bet athe injector o rings .....,fuel filter or pump if not the fuel regulator

Start with the basics like checking timing, new plugs, cap and rotor, fuel filter. It also sounds like you need a clutch or adjustment
