Okay, I know the 85 GT auto came out with CFI. I guess the canadian model got a 2300. I had the motor apart, and the manifold looked like a standard 2 barrel manifold. Has anyone swapped from CFI to a two barrel? Ive already cleaned up all the other nonsense from under the hood (AC, Heater, random *** vacuum lines etc. etc.) The car does not idle well at all. It seems to be that the only crappy wiring left goes to the CFI, and I want it outta there. I cant afford a manifold and 4 barrel. Anyone swapped from CFI to 2 barrel? Anything stupid come up?

I have a stock 85 4 barrel manifold I'd sell you...as for swapping it isn't worth it...you could do it but it wouldn't give any gains and you'd have to purchase a rebuild 2 barrel and change ignition system to duraspark and also a swap is goona cost some money, whether it's 2 or 4 barrel..IMO 2 would be a waste

I would KILL for that manifold, but my budget is ****. I need the car to run. That, and four barrels seem kinda expensive. (Local yards wanting $150+ for ****ty ones.) How much you want for that manifold?

ebay they go for 60 to 75 bucks usually but since I'm nice 50 bucks and I have a holley carb/600 that you could have for 15 bucks....it worked ..it was off a 84 gt but you may wanna rebuild it cause it's sat in my shelf at work for 4 years

Anyone know if i can run the stock in tank pump? If not, can I run a regulator?

you can regulate it down.. alot of people use the 4 cylinder pump and regulate it down too......reason it should work fine is its a return style system
