Today I put on 1 5/8 chrome bbk shorties, bbk x pipe, and a slp loudmouth catback. Before this I had stock with no tails and glasspacks. With stocks and glasspacks I could spin all thru first and half second if I wanted, I can't even do this now. Check plug wires and one was lose on distributor cap which made it a lil better but it isn't where it should be considering I shuoldn've gained horsepower rather than lost. My heater core also went today, and I just by passed it if that has any effect, Have any ideas or suggestions what could being causing my seeming loss of power?

it could be that ur clutch is going but im not sure, because that is what happened to mine before i could chirp 1st 2nd and 3rd gear now i cant

You killed all your backpressure, so you lost alot of low end torque.
-I assume your engine is stock...

If you car is mostly stock you may need to switch to1 1/2 in headers.I remember a header test several years ago which showed mac 1.5inequal length headers made more power and torque on a mostly stock mustang than bbk 1 5/8.They said you need some back pressure mostly stock engines
