a/c clutch not engaging...
I am sorry i am sure this has been asked before but the search function just wont work for me right now.. anyways... for some reason the ac clutch wont engage and there is plenty of freon in the unit. thiswas something that happend suddenly and i dont want to go throwing parts at it the controls in the dash seem to be working fine.. the blower works fine and the selector vacumealso works... the switch does get a little hot when it is on the a/c side and again i am not sure what the deal is.. sorry so long.. please help.. i am in florida and its F...ing hott!!!

Have you checked the fuses? Have you pulled the switch out to make sure that something is not melted or burnt up since it has been geeting hot, have you tested the main wires from the switch to where ever it leads to, I do not have a schematic but that would be some of the things I would look into. You may want to check and jump the low pressure switch on the drier to see if that kicks the compressor on. BTW I just got my air fixed and I am in GA so I feel your pain.
