Default 87 GT tire question

Hey,
I ahve aftermarket O.Z wheels on my car that it had when I bought it. Dont know what size they are

But I have 225-60-15 on it right now in the rear

how much wider is a 245-60-15

you'd want a 245 50 15.. 60's series would be taller and wider than what you got..get 16's ..

I understood your question just fine !! now understand my answer!!! and 225 refers to the metric system in mm..you do the math 25.4 mm = 1 inch

Stock original size on the door says 225-60-15

which are on the car right now

and I want to put 245-60-15

you said its 1inch wider


so It wont rub I assume.....

the reason behind my first recommendation was casue as you go wider even though the 60's series is the same number as the the 225 your 245 will be taller than a 225 if you go 245/50 it will be relatively close to a 225/60.. trust me..been there done that one

why not just do what he is recomending and do the 245 50 15's if they are too hard to find 245 55 15 is close to the original size. i think the 245 50 15's will bea little shorter than the 225 60 15's dont you think mjr?
