Are the 94-95 cobra mustang computers the same as the 94-95 GT mustangs? I heard that you can't do any mods to a 94-95 because it won't run right afterward.

Do the 94-95 "cobra" computer respond well to mods such as cams, heads or nitrous ?

I really want to do some mods to my 94 soon but don't want to if it will run improper.

94-95 ecm/cobra ones are calibrated internally for 24 lbs injectors and stock gt ones 19 lbs.. that's one main difference

whoever told you that you can't mod a 94-95 is a ****ing moron

im running a 347 stroker, 30# injectors, comp cams XE276HR cam, 180cc heads... and my car idles perfect

yes please do. So if I were to install a full exhaust, tb, bigger maf & a nitrous kit it will run properly?

I also heard that 94-95 computers have a tip retard setting in the computer which pulls out massive amounts of timing as the rpm raises.

So if I do these mods the cars will run like an 87-93?
Why do I heard bad things about the 94-95 computers then?
are the gt computers diff. Than the cobras?

Also could I just get an EEC-iv a9l computer and swap out the stock computer.

Regardless of GT or Cobra computer you will need a tune to have your car running optimally with major mods such as a cam, heads or a power adder. Cobra computers don't idle any better with a cam than the GT ones. If you're planning heavy mods just plan on getting it tuned after the install.
