I had the coolant temp sensor, ACT sensor, PCV Valve, PCV Mesh and rubber grommet all replaced and I still get this high idle when at a stop light in neutral. It can stay up like that for awhile and of course when I shift it messes that up. In the past the IAC valve and throttle body were both cleaned and it worked fine but this time it didn't work. What could be the possible cause for this? a waterpump gasket leak?
whats with the picture? are you for real or just messing around? if this is real then no the waterpump had nothing to do with the idle. try replacing your IAC and check for vacuum leaks. a vacuum leak on a speed density car will up the idle because the reading for the air is taken in the intake. there for with a vacuum leak the MAP sensor is gunna go oh throttle plate is open lets tell the computer to start dumping fuel. im sure you can cruise around with your foot off the gass too
