Default need an electric fan

i need an electric fan and electronics for my 87 gt. i'm only looking to spend around $100 at the most. i've looked at some fans, and talked to a couple people and "high flowing" fans seem to cost up closer to $200. anybody have a decent one that would put out enought air for my 302? does anybody have a local junkyard that they could get me a compatible taurus fan from?? my junkyard sucks around here, they don't have much of anything. need to get this soon, its gettin hot outside!!

ya, its about 90* today and my car is running right on temp cheapest high quallity fan you will find. this guy is always selling them, so i think they may be new. the one i got from him was in perfect condition. when it turns on, you can put you hand infront of the grill and feel the air that its pulling in going across you hand

Hm, that's odd, I got mine for free also! What a coinkidink!

Anyway, yah, when it's on, you put your hand in front of it and it's like massive air moving through that radiator.

But here's the deal though, remember to use an inline fuse holder on the power feed coming from the positive battery terminal. And you'll need something like a 40amp fuse because it's a 30amp fan but it spikes above 30amps on startup, so if you use a 30amp fuse, it'll pop on you every time.

And if that guy does not supply a relay, just use a standard 12V relay 30/40 amps.
