Hello, is anyone using a venom programmer, I see it advertises a 25% horsepower gain for about $300.00. Anyone have any experience with these?

there are much better programmers/chips out there than the venom and you will not get 25% out of it. don't waste your money.

Thanks, I almost ordered it. What is a good programmer for a 1995 mustang cobra then? I figured 25% gain for $300.00 was a steal!

if your cars stock, id expect no more than 10hp out of the tuner, which is less than 5%. Dont listen to advertised horsepower numbers, they are always wrong. Except for superchargers, turbochargers and nitrous lol. And dynographs btw.

Tuners rarely add much power to stock or mildly modded cars. They're more for the guys with h/c/i mods and MANY more done. Im sure that the Venom could add a decent amount of power to a head, cam, intake, exhast and ignition modded motor....probably not 25% though.lol.

You mean my K&N did not give me 25 HP??? Companies would not lie just to make a sale would they. I once added up all the advertised HP that I put on my car but for some reason I dont think I have 900+ HP right now. This was more of a problem 10 plus years ago I think before the net really let people like us talk about it. It seams some of the advertised HP are now just on the high side not the flat out lies we had to deal with back then.
