that not all 5.0 GT's or LX' scame with the HO engines.I thought they were all that way.

no some came with aboned out 5.0...and most came with the 5.0 HO, i think 90% if not all of the gts came with HO..the lx's got the reg 5.0 some had the HO, depends

All 5.0L's were HO in mustangs. ('87-'95)

All GT's were 5.0L HO.

Some LX's got the 2.3L, and many got the 5.0L HO.

correction 82 to 95^^^^^^^^^^even cfi had the denotation of h.o as to wether or not it actually is high output in terms of power is debatable

Hey Adder,
Try not to sound so intelligent....especially when you cant even spell responce.
So according to this thread some GT's werent made with HO(10%)
The reason I was asking is not to sound stupid but when I bought my 89 LX I looked at a 90 GT first that didnt to seem to have as much power to it as mine so dude with helmet said some 5.0 didnt come with HO.I thought they did but im not a Fox body 5.0 specialist like Adder.

well... like MJR said before... every fox 5.0 from 82-93 was an HO

the only way it wouldnt have an HO motor, is if someone swapped it with a non HO

Your all misinformed. 1982-1984 were designated FHO, factory high output. 85-86 was designated EHO, emmisions controled high output. 87-93 were all regular HO motors, but only in GT's and only the first 10,000 produced each year. The others were called HPO High performance opperations. None were designated on the intake, they were all labled 5.0 h.o.
