fuel pump help

RE: fuel pump help
Actually, it's much easier to use the ECC test connector to jump the fuel pump. Stick a piece of wire in the bottom right connection, and ground the other end of it. Then turn the key on. You should hear the relays click, and the fuel pump run.

RE: fuel pump help
You will need a test light to begin with. You need to make sure power is getting to the pump. Under your driver seat is the fuel pump relay, you will need to make sure power is going to it, and that power is running back to the inertia switch, which as stated before will be in the trunk\hatch area, it is on the drivers side corner for my 88 but from what I read it will be in the center of the trunk on yours... not positive but you should be able to find. It will have a button on the top, I have seen the button being white or red.
Attached are wiring diagrams for the fuel pump, relay location, and view of inertia switch.
