Default is a 4 cyl. driveshaft

The exact same as a 5.0 drive shaft. I found out my front yoke on my ds was bad, very bad groove in it from the tail housing bushing. I can get a ds from a 4 cylinder for 30 bucks, the frpp yoke alone is 55 bucks plus shipping, I want to make sure the 4 cyl. and 8 cyl. are the same, or would a new yoke be better to buy?

my 4 cyl shaft of my 92 had a huge balance / counter weight on it = wouldn't work.. but varying years may be different and the u-joints are not as heavy duty also

I'd do it that way for strength..... my 4 cyl u-joints were half the size of my 5.0 ones

You can get a speedy sleeve as a cheap fix too. I had to install one of the rear yoke on my DS. It will get be by until I replace it with an aluminum shaft.
