no thanks on the custom cam. There are a million combos each with it pros and cons. You ask all the poeple on here that own a 351w who has just about the same mods as me what cam their runnin i id bet you lunch mjr good lunch not crappy mcydees that you would maby get the same awencer 2 times. I appriciate the comment mjr about the coustom grind but i know that can get pricey. Now Ive found all kinds of good cams i just have to pick my company. comp lunait crane FMS.Ive talked to a few very good engine builders who specialize in fords and they have all givin me just about the same cam specs. Close to it atleast. Now hold on a second are you sure absolutly positivly sure that a 650 will work??????.........bet me lunch????hmmmmmmm lol guys thanks for the comments

fyi custom cams are not much more 30 dollars more for the cam doctor......if my back hurts I go to a specialist not my gereral practicioner....same goes for cams..call Jay Allen or Ed Curtis and get the truth ..even if you don't want a custom cam they will steer you to the proper ots cam..trust me ya' might just learn a thing or two and leave with a wow!!! and that I'll bet you a steak dinner on!!

man you guys always live to far away!!! I'll have to send you an E steak FTW!!!..ANYWAY it may be easier getting in touch with Ed Curtis but leave your name and they will call back!! Ed helped me one time resolve an issue with my AFR heads when even the goobers at the techline for afr couldn't.....but he can give you some good pointers

also if your set on an OTS cam and nothing wrong with them as my 347 has one and chosen right thay can perform well... one thing to think about and it my be a little pricey since you are using a flat tappet cam block would be to purchase the retro fit roller lifters and use a roller cam in that block and comps XE series cams are a nice fit and bang for the buck.. i use the xe 282 and for an ots cam it suprised me in my 347..it really screamed in my 306 and was a whole new game in the 347
